Our programs provide supportive opportunities for people with intellectual and developmentally disabilities, autism spectrum disorders to grow in independence at home, at work, and in the community. Our Future Leader's skills are attained at their best level of independence and are distinguished through our person-centered programming. Future Leader's community based services enables individuals to thrive in the community, while leading and making a difference.
Our Day Services offers meaningful, person-centered experiences. Our focus is on education, life skills enrichment and pre-employment training, supporting the individual to succeed and prosper. Our dedicated instructors provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment where we focus on our capabilities.
Life Skills Development 3
LSD3 focuses on the development of social & recreational skills needed in community interactions and daily life. Training includes activities of daily living, self-help, adaptive skills, & social skills. Our emphasis is on acquisition of skills that build positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, independence, & personal choice.
Life Skills Development 4
LSD4 is a pre-vocational program intended to develop & teach workplace skills. The program includes unpaid internships, volunteerism & non-job specific training. LSD4 is time-limited (36 months) to aid progression to competitive integrated employment. To participate individuals must have employment-related goals outlined in the person-centered support plan.
